The Principal welcomes you!
I am joining the ICE with more than a decade of experience in bilingual education. My predominant aim is to enlighten global citizens in addition to equipping them for all of the challenging endeavors which they will most certainly face. It is paramount for each and every student to be universally informed, and to be capable to locate their place in the world, while being surrounded by a safe and nurturing environment
Bilingualism, an essential asset!
ICE aims for each student to acquire a native fluency in French and English, which means the ability to express themselves with equal ease, orally and in writing, in both languages. In addition, students are exposed to an in-depth learning of different cultures, approaches and perspectives. This allows them to access higher education anywhere around the world, where the language of instruction is in English or in French.
As a French school, ICE is accredited by the Ministry of National Education.
As an international school, ICE is part of the IB World Schools, accredited for the PYP, as well as part of Cambridge International Schools.
ICE also partners with Jeannine Manuel School for its bilingualism strategy (see below).
Our program
At all stages of the program, the school’s approach to teaching and learning focuses on the development of four essential 21st century skills: communication, cooperation, critical thinking and creativity.
ICE is an IB World school in Primary (PYP), and a candidate school for the IBDP in high school**.
** ICE is a Candidate School* for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP). This school is pursuing authorization as an IB World School. These are schools that share a common philosophy—a commitment to high quality, challenging, international education that ICE believes is important for our students.
* Only schools authorized by the IB Organization can offer any of its four academic programmes: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), the Diploma Programme, or the Career-related Programme (CP). Candidate status gives no guarantee that authorization will be granted. For further information about the IB and its programmes, visit www.ibo.org.
